For sale are TWO (2) hard-to-find Copies of the newsstand version of Spawn Number 1. These are both VF/NM in the 9.0 Range. Each one has a small tick at the top of the cover that probably came from being bundled in a larger stack when they were put out new on the stands. They both lie flat. Beautiful color and eye appeal. Perfect candidates for a pressing. Please See the attached photos for further information on condition and make your own judgement but I believe a 9.0 is a fair grade. You will get both of the comic books you see in the photos. I do not use Stock photos. I will be happy to provide more photos or information. Check out my other listings. Villains of Gotham City Sericel Limited Edition Set: “Batman Animated”. The Villains of Gotham City Sericel: 1507/5000. From left to right: Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Joker, Harley Quinn, Mad Hatter, Riddler, Catwoman and Two-Face. The piece is framed and measures approximately 39″ x 17″. Certificate of authenticity is on the back along with original price sticker. This sericel was hung on the wall briefly and the frames edges have minimal paint loss. Can be touched up with black paint. Villains of Gotham City II: 382/2500. From left to right: Bane, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Ra’s Al Ghul, Talia, Phantasm, The Ventriloquist w/ Scarface, and Clayface. The piece is framed and measures approximately 18″ x 40″. This sericel has never been hung or displayed. Both sericels feature classic Bruce Timm animations from Batman: The Animated Series. Some backstory for the curious. We are moving and unfortunately we can not take everything with us and my husband is not really a Batman fan. The horror, I know. Wished I knew that before I married him, just kidding. Growing up, my brother’s controlled the TV remote so I grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series. Thus my love for all things (animated) Batman started especially drawing all these villains. Brothers were not about to let me watch The Powerpuff Girls. This was back in the day, when there was only 1 TV downstairs, no tablets or cell phones. Yes, I just dated myself. Sorry about the glare. Crappy camera and crappy picture taker which is me.
