HUGE wholesale lot 250+ Marvel Comic Book Poster Original Art Prints Collection
This is for an entire 250+ print lot. Somewhere between 250-275 with most being double-sided. To be clear, these. Are officially licensed 11″ x 17″ reproductions of the original comic book art. While each piece appears to be in black and white at first glace, they are actually in color, enabling you to see all the subtle nuances that make original art unique such as paste-overs, blue pencils in the art, editorial notes, art corrections, zip-a-tone, Duoshade, whiteout – all of which are clearly visible in the majority of these! In addition, each one is printed the same size as originally drawn, and the paper selected is as close as possible to the original art board. Beginning in the 1970’s, various publishers and artists started releasing portfolio sets which would include several oversized reproduction prints of original artwork, printed on a heavier paper than your normal comic book. Since then, many art and poster books, have been released with that same idea – to memorialize these gorgeous pieces of art in a brighter and larger format than the original comic books allowed. In recent years, IDW has really stepped to the forefront of preserving the works of many great artists by releasing their oversized hardcover format known as Artist’s Editions. Once I started removing the art from their original binding and placing them on my own walls at home, I realized that many other fans would love to have the same thing adorn their walls. Again, these are all officially licensed – I do NOT sell unlicensed prints or copies. Will field reasonable offers but keep in mind that it mind that location will come into play because of the weight of all of these. Includes artists like Jim Lee, John Romita. John Buscema, Jim Starlin, Mike Zeck, & Michael Golden with characters such as. Spider-Man, X-Men, Punisher, Captain America, and so on and so on are included in the stack. There may be some with very slight imperfections like a bent corner here or there but 90%+ I would consider to be brand new. Sizes range but the majority would be 11×16 or 12×16. Prints may vary slightly from photos shown. Thanks for taking a look at this item from Grant’s Comics! After being a comic fan since the age of two with Amazing Spider-Man #170, I decided to start up a social media account in 2020 which led to me creating one of the more popular comic boxes on the internet check’em out by searching for Grant’s Comics unboxing videos! And now I’m branching out into other storefronts. In a world with so much negativity, comics have always been a great escape; regardless if you’re reading them, collecting them, or both. Please check out my other listings and don’t hesitate to ask any questions!

1986 Watchmen Rorschach Original Promo Poster Gibbons Art Alan Moore Scum Earth

1986 Watchmen Rorschach Original Promo Poster Gibbons Art Alan Moore Scum Earth
And check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS. This is an original unused promotional poster for the Watchmen series, released by DC Comics in 1986. It features a great image of Rorschach with his back turned, walking down an alley, with the quote above him’You know what I wish? I wish all the scum of the Earth had one throat and I had my hands about it. The familiar sideways Watchmen title logo is on the left side, and at the bottom is stated “A 12 Issue Deluxe Series By Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons”. The poster is in very good undisplayed condition, with no pinholes, tears, or other major wear commonly seen on vintage posters or prints, and measures approximately 15″ by 22″ when unfolded and is blank on the reverse side. There are a few small indentation marks that are not that visible unless you look closely. There is a small black spot in the black area between the words “all” and “the” at the bottom (does not really show in the scan) that might be removed by being scratched or wiped off, but we have left it as-is. You don’t really see it unless you hold the poster at an angle towards light. This is a very cool and rare comic collectible, as they were for promotional use and were not made for resale. Promotional posters like this one were not mass-produced or available to the general public, and were often thrown away, so to find a classic one like this that is more than 30 years old and has not been pinned with tacks or taped is rare indeed. The Watchmen introduced such great characters as Dr. Manhattan, Rorschach, The Comedian, Silk Spectre, Nite Owl, and Ozymandias, and brought a depth and realism to comics that it had arguably never seen before. It is one of Moore’s finest works, ranking up there with Batman The Killing Joke, Miracleman, V For Vendetta, From Hell, the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Saga of the Swamp Thing. The Watchmen is considered by many to be the greatest comic book work ever created, and is certainly the most important and influential work produced in comics in the last 25-30 years. This is a great item for any fan of this landmark series, and would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed. Check out our other auctions for more great items. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did!

Original 1973 Batman poster1970s Vintage 34 1/2 x 24 DC Detective Comics pin up
This is the SUPER RARE VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1973 BATMAN POSTER, and it features the artwork of long-time silver age Batman and Brave and the Bold artist CARMINE INFANTINO. This 1970’s Dark Knight detective poster was produced by a company called Studio One of Holmes, Pennsylvania. SIZE: This scarce original Batman poster measures about 34 1/2 inches by 24 inches. NOTE: Those small silver things you see on the edges of the poster are just magnets, so the photos could be taken. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: This extremely scarce Batman poster is the ORIGINAL 1973 VERSION, not the later version that was re-released later in 1976. That’s great news! CONDITION NOTES (see photos): This’73 poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED, it still retains it’s gorgeous colors, it has some tanning (discoloration) on the back side of the poster from all the decades in storage, some minor crinkles, and some light creasing from being stored rolled up all these years. With that in mind, I’d grade this extremely rare poster as “fine/very fine” condition (using comic book grading terms). I’m 100 percent certain that many other poster sellers and collectors would grade this poster higher (or not inform you of these imperfections), but I prefer to grade more conservatively. It’s incredible this scarce poster even survived the 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, the 2000’s, and now. There can’t be many of these posters left in existence after all these years!

1989 Wolverine Incredible Hulk #340 Original Poster Todd Mcfarlane Cover Art

1989 Wolverine Incredible Hulk #340 Original Poster Todd Mcfarlane Cover Art
And check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS. This is the incredibly rare 1989 Wolverine/Hulk poster, featuring the classic Incredible Hulk #340 cover image by legendary comic book artist Todd MacFarlane, who first became well-known drawing Incredible Hulk, Amazing Spider-man, and Spiderman, before leaving Marvel Comics to co-found Image Comics with his creation of Spawn. If features the Green Goliath reflected in Logan’s adamantium claws. This is not the 1988 Marvel Press poster (which itself is hard to find) with the white border. This is the 1989 poster with the orange border, which is basically almost never seen. Please note it does have a significant amount of wear. There are tape pieces on the back side of the poster, as it looks like there are tears above Wolverine’s head that were repaired with tape, and may have been colored with red pen to help the tears blend in. There is also heavy wear in the corners, with paper loss (see picture), pinholes, and tape repairs at the top left corner. There is slight paper hang-off near the top right edge, so I’m not sure if it was also trimmed along the edge? Prin, but the edge seems like it might be basically straight there, so I’m not sure. There are also tape pulls from the paper on the back side at each corner. Despite all the wear, the main image actually still displays fairly well, so if you matted out the issues around the corners, it would likely still make a nice display piece. Check out our other auctions for more great items. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did!

Superman #1 (1939) DC Comics Original Cover Poster Art Print 1974 Man Of Steel

Superman #1 (1939) DC Comics Original Cover Poster Art Print 1974 Man Of Steel
And check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS. This is a fantastic full-color cardstock poster print of the cover to Superman #1, one of the most classic Golden Age issues. There is no information on either the front or the back side (which is blank), regarding publishing information or the date these were made. This is the original name for DC National Periodical Publications, Inc. , and is also found in the same spot on the classic comic covers plaques that were made in the mid-1970’s (I believe mainly in 1974). So that would indicate these were made at the same time, particularly as there is an identical version of this in plaque form that came out in 1974. It is in very good undisplayed condition, with no pinholes, tears, or other major wear commonly seen on vintage posters or prints, and measures approximately 10 1/4″ by 14 1/4″. It’s on a cardstock type of paper, which is flexible, but thick enough that it can’t really be rolled. This is an amazing Superman collectible, and should be in the collection of every true fan. It would look fantastic displayed, particularly if you decide to have it framed. The cover to Superman #1 is likely one of the most important and most recognized covers to ever grace a comic book. It is also one of the most distinctive covers ever done. Superman #1 is the all-time classic comic issue which featured the full origin of Superman (Clark Kent), who along with Batman would become one of the 2 most important comic figures of the 20th century. Originally published in the Summer of 1939 by DC Comics, this is one of the single most valuable comics ever published, with values established well into the tens of thousands of dollars. It included story and art by legendary creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, who launched their famous creation in his own title in this issue, after first being introduced in the pages of Action Comics. The cover features an incredible mid-air iconic image of the Man of Steel. To overstate the importance of this issue would really not be possible, as it is a landmark not only in comic history, but in pop culture and American history as well. This issue was one of the landmarks of the comic book explosion and Golden Age, so it is hard to think of a comic cover that a collector could more proudly display. These prints are incredibly difficult to find, and very rarely surface for sale. Don’t miss a rare opportunity to add this fantastic piece to your collection. Check out our other auctions for more great items. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did!
