This is an insanely rare piece! From the ALL AMERICAN COMIC BOOK CONVENTION (presumably from 1976) comes this great poster/print by Golden Age great ALEX SCHOMBERG! This piece is limited to a mere 300 pieces (this is #45/300) and measures APPROXIMATELY 14 x 18 1/2. It is made out of a poster/cardboard material. Signed Schomberg pieces are very difficult to find. It has nearly all of the most popular Super Heroes of the Marvel Universe, in 1975. Some were mailed and taken from the convention folded, but this was bought and stored rolled so no folds. It measures 20.5 x 27.75 Overall condition is in Very Good due to edge wear, tanning and age spots. However, it still displays great and is rare to find in this condition, or any condition. This is the giant Boston Comic Con 2016 board that was behind Frank Miller’s table during his signing at the convention. It was taken and signed at the private signing Friday night after the con. This one of a kind item is foam board approximately 1/4 in thick and is 5ft x 3ft. I have contact information for both companies if there are any questions about the signing. I included photos of the backdrop, the COA, and the packing process. Additional photos are available if requested. I unfortunately do not have a photo of Frank actually signing it because I was holding the poster at the time he signed it. The backdrop has been packed between 2 sheets of insulated board, then wrapped in sheets of cardboard, and finally wrapped in multiply layers of tape to insure it stays in premium condition. Goldzung, who was the President of Star Comics. This was the actual poster displayed for the event and is a large 17 x 22 inches and printed on a cardstock with a glossy-like front side. The convention had small versions for sale too. What’s cool about this is that it was given to Stan Lee as a gift and autographed by Jack Kirby, Neal Adams and C. This was the first South Florida convention ever held so to own this is a treasure. Its condition is Fine due to edgewear, aging and some mositure spots on the back. Sometimes you can find the original program with the same image in black and white, but the poster is exceeding scarce. How can you not LOVE it. The collector picked this up on Nov. 28, 1971 as stamped on the back. If he dated this item i took a close up of the date. The scale behind the item is in inches.
