There are grails-seen at major cons across America-they are shiny behind their acrylic and so sophisticated most can only offer “oohs and aahs”, not what their owners are asking. Then there are white whales. 99% are never seen, but every now and then one surfaces and makes itself available for the patient and persistent hunter. If you are diehard and old school, you know what this is. For the rest, educate yourself. This one is #986. There are so few of these left, and I read one old whited haired dinosaur in Colorado is hoarding around 6 of them. The last one I saw for sale surfaced in AZ maybe 3 years ago on this site. Portfolio envelope has a tear at center of the tongue(see photos). Corners of the jacket are slightly blunted(see photos). The plates do have some corner damage(see photos).
