SILVER SURFER Marvelmania Poster by Jack Kirby. This poster was produced by Marvelmania International, an independently operated fan club from 1969 to 1971. Im not a professional grader, but I would rate the condition as fair to good. The most obvious flaw is a wrinkled area at the top. In addition to some minor edge wear, there are several tiny pinholes around the edges, due to the poster having been attached to the wall of my bedroom with staples when I was 12 years old. Yes, Im the original owner, and have stored this away for almost 50 years! There is also a fair amount of light creasing and wrinkling overall, but its not really noticeable, and only visible when a bright light is reflecting across it. I tried to show the worst of it in the photos. I have tried to depict as many of the flaws as possible, so please examine the photos carefully to assess the condition for yourself. I should also point out this poster is trimmed to a smaller size than the others in the set. It is 22.5 x 33.25, compared to 23 x 35 or 23 x 34.5 for the others. I ordered all of these posters at the same time, and this is how it came from the printer. This is a very roomy tube which allows it to be rolled loosely, not tightly. Vintage 1971 silver surfer third Eye blacklight poster in near mint condition. It has a small half inch tear on outside lower left-hand edge would not be visible when framed. See photos for condition. This poster has been stored in archival materials. And I do not believe this poster was ever rolled up because it is completely flat.
