Fine radial composition from Cowan, deepened by Sienkiewicz’s Expressionistic ink textures. And check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS. This is a rare original unused promo poster for the epic DC Comics Legends series from 1986. It features artwork by the legendary John Byrne. Byrne is a true legend spanning 4 decades in comics as both a writer and artist, and is known for his classic runs on the Uncanny X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Alpha Flight, and She-Hulk, as well as for revamping the Man of Steel during DC’s overhaul of the Superman character in the 1980’s, and this is a truly classic straight-on pin-up image that includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel Shazam! , and Justice League of America and Teen Titans members like the Flash, Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Beast Boy, Firestorm, Dr. Fate, J’onn J’onzz the Martian Manhunter, the Elongated Man, and Robin. The poster is in very good condition, with no pinholes, tears, or other major wear commonly seen on vintage posters or prints, but please note it does have some age spotting (foxing) on the back. It measures approximately 16″ by 22″ when unfolded and is blank on the reverse side. Also, the colors are richer and deeper than what came out in the image. This is a very cool and rare comic collectible, as they were for promotional use and were not made for resale. Promotional posters like this one were not mass-produced or available to the general public, and were often thrown away, so to find a classic one like this that is more than 30 years old and has not been pinned with tacks or taped is rare indeed. SUPER RARE ONE OF A KIND ORIGINAL LARGE NEGATIVES & POSTER LYNDA CARTER. These are THE ORIGINAL NEGATIVES that were used to create and sell the famous Lynda Carter poster from PRO ARTS INC. They are ONE OF A KIND pieces just like original art and in MINT condition. And also this is THE ORIGINAL (First One Off Of The Press) poster of Lynda Carter (WONDER WOMAN) from 1977 Titled (LYNDA) 14-519 from PRO ARTS INC. Plus all four color negatives which were used to create the poster. PRO ARTS Inc was huge back in the 70’s when they hit a home run with the famous Farrah Fawcett poster everyone remembers. Due to some lawsuits the Pro Arts company was liquidated back in 1984 and then in 2009 auctioned off everything and that is where this came from. All four negatives measure 28 X 20 and are in excellent shape. Have been kept in my pet and smoke free home enclosed and out of any sunlight. Super Rare Original Vintage Movie Poster from the Golden Age. The Batman (Columbia, 1943). 1 Sheet (27″ X 41″) Chapter 12 — Embers of Evil. Columbia’s 15-episode serial was the first screen appearance of DC Comics’ Caped Crusader. Here, Batman and Robin battle Dr. Daka, a Japanese mastermind of a wartime espionage/sabotage group. Daka has an arsenal of weapons including a radium-powered death ray, a classic alligator pit to dispose of enemies, and the ability to turn men into electronic zombies. The one sheet offered here is in F/VF condition, showing only pinholes in the corners, a red mark in the image area, fold & edge wear with small tears, extra creasing, and cellophane tape on the verso. Posters from this early Batman serial are very rare and seldom come up for sale, making this a “super” find! This is the 1988 release of the 50×50 inch Marvel Universe poster by Ed Hannigan and Joe Rubenstein, featuring every Marvel Comics character up to that point in time. THIS IS NOT THE DYNAMIC FORCES REPRODUCTION. I’ve had this poster since 1988. It hung briefly in my bedroom, before going back in its tube and getting stored in the attic for the last 30 years. Condition: overall, it’s in solid shape for a 31 year old poster, the colors are still vibrant and sharp, but it does have some issues. There is some small degree of foxing on the top edge of the poster (as I said, it was stored in an attic for a long time). This should be able to be removed with proper care and conversation techniques. There’s no odor that I can detect though. There are some small thumb tacks holes where it was hung, and there is some edge wear from the tube. I tried to include photos of any small holes or tears in the paper–all of which are on the edge of the piece. The photos you see are the item for sale.
