DARK SHADOWS (Series Began 1969) (GOLD KEY) Issue #3 POSTER comics in Fine condition. Published by Gold Key. Fine – An exceptional, above-average copy that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with slight creasing or minor defects. Eye appeal is somewhat reduced because of slight surface wear and possibly a very small defect such as a few very slight cross stress marks on spine. A Fine condition comic book appears to have been read a few times and has been handled with moderate care. Compared to a Very Fine, cover inks are beginning to show a significant reduction in reflectivity but is still a highly collectible and desirable book. These comics were graded as. #1 with poster 5.5 FN. #2 5.0 VG/FN. SINCE I’M A NOVICE TO GRADING I TOOK THESE COMICS TO MY FAVORITE COMIC BOOK STORE, THE OWNER IS A STRICT GRADER SOMETIMES TOO STRICT IN SOME PEOPLE’S OPINIONS (INCLUDING OTHER COMIC STORES) SO I TOOK THIS COMIC AND HAD HIM GRADE IT AND THEN HAD HIM PUT IN QUALITY MYLAR WITH BOARDS FOR BEST LOOK AND PROTECTION I TRUST HIS GRADING AND SINCE HE IS STRICT I KNOW THE GRADE IS AT LEAST WHAT HE SAID IT IS SOMETIMES BETTER HERE’S A RECENT FEEDBACK FROM ONE OF MY CUSTOMERS ABOUT HIS GRADING. Comic came super-fast and is way better than advertised! This was the feedback for Sub-Mariner #1 that my grader had graded as 3.5 VG.
