Vtg Gross Out Man Poster Anti Establishment Counter Culture Steve DeSouza Ray Ring. This item is in good. Please see pictures as they are part of the description. This is a nice. Vintage unique poster print from the 60’s. This is Gross Out Man, and he’s wearing all the brands of his time, Keds, Jockey underwear, Iron City Beer, Mickey Mouse. I believe he is supposed to be anti establishment, or counter culture for Viet Nam, or a mockery of the times. This is signed Steve deSouza and Ray Ring 1967 in the corner. The only Steve deSouza I could find is the Screenwriter for the Die Hard movie among others. Ray Ring was a crime novelist. Both men studied under Phillip Klass. They are both in their 70s, so it is feasible that they are the ones responsible for the poster. UPDATE Ray Ring did respond and confirmed they both made this poster, Steve and I did the Gross out man Comic & Cartoons while we were students at Penn State –Steve doing the art and both of us doing concepts, dialogue etc. So cool with an awesome back story!
