This is an original 1966 Batman poster that has maintained its condition and needs to fine its final home. “56.5” tall X “38” wide. The size alone tells you that this poster was used in some form of promotion most likely hung at the movie theatre. That’s the story that was passed to me through my uncle who preserved this poster for all these years. Poster has some flaws on the edges around it. No holes or punctures. Someone painted yellow over the name in the bottom left corner also pictured. Pictures don’t show the thickness of this poster meaning there is zero flimsiness to this piece. I will answer any questions regarding poster and send any additional pictures If requested. The back of the poster has discolored over the years just showing it’s age. Colors on front are very bright and look great. I wil l prove my legitimacy any way needed if any buyers are scared offf by my my first. Hello, DC Comics Universe super-heroes, and thank you for shopping with SUPERVATOR ONLINE! This is the EXTREMELY RARE VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1966 BATMAN AND ROBIN CAPED CRUSADERS POSTER! This scarce 1960’s Batmania poster measures about 29 inches by 21 inches, and it features the iconic opening animated cartoon sequence of Batman and Robin running toward the viewer from the 1966 ABC tv series starring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin the Boy Wonder. The Batmobile and Gotham City is shown behind the superheroes. CONDITION NOTES (see photos). This scarce 29 inch by 21 inch Bat-mania poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED, it has some tanning of the paper, it has minor crinkling of the paper in some places, and a VERY small chip out of the upper left corner, but the colors are still bright and vivid, so I would grade this extremely scarce poster (especially in this condition) as “fine/very fine” condition (using comic book grading terms). I’m 100 percent certain that many other poster dealers or collectors would grade it much higher, but I prefer to grade more conservatively. It’s nothing short of amazing that this poster still exists after surviving the 60’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, the 2000’s, and now. There can’t possibly be that many of these posters left in existence. This description is (C) RLC. This scarce 29 inch by 21 inch Bat-mania poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED and it is still VERY COLORFUL AND BRIGHT, but it does have some tanning of the paper, tiny chips of paper missing from the edge areas, some crinkling spots here and there, a small upper right corner crease, a paper stain and a small chip missing from the upper left corner, 2 very small tears that have been mended from the back side with tape, and a lower right edge tear that measures about 1 1/4 inches and has been mended from the back side with tape. I’m 100 percent certain that many other poster dealers or collectors would grade it much higher, but I prefer to grade more conservatively.
