This scarce 1960’s Batmania poster measures about 29 inches by 21 inches, and it features the iconic opening animated cartoon sequence of Batman and Robin running toward the viewer from the 1966 ABC tv series starring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin the Boy Wonder. The Batmobile and Gotham City is shown behind the superheroes. CONDITION NOTES (see photos). This scarce 29 inch by 21 inch Bat-mania poster has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED, it has some tanning of the paper, it has minor crinkling of the paper in some places, and a VERY small chip out of the upper left corner, but the colors are still bright and vivid, so I would grade this extremely scarce poster (especially in this condition) as “fine/very fine” condition (using comic book grading terms). I’m 100 percent certain that many other poster dealers or collectors would grade it much higher, but I prefer to grade more conservatively. It’s nothing short of amazing that this poster still exists after surviving the 60’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, the 2000’s, and now. There can’t possibly be that many of these posters left in existence. This description is (C) RLC.
