Offered here is a truly Rare Original 7-11 RETAILER PROMOTIONAL POSTER from the 1970’s for the Marvel Super Hero 7-11 CUPS featuring the INCREDIBLE HULK & The THING. These huge posters were sent to all 7-11 Conveniece Stores to promote the new Marvel Super Heroes Slurpee Cup series. Most of these posters were used and destroyed, a few survived. This one is in excellent condition, it has been stored pretty well over the years with some light wear and scattered crinkles in the interior and some normal edge wear, the colors are still rich and vibrant on this huge – 19″ x 66″ poster. This is a RARE VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1966 BATMAN POSTER, it’s VERY BIG , and it features the artwork of long-time silver age Batman and Brave and the Bold artist CARMINE INFANTINO. This Batmania poster measures about 40 inches by 27 inches, and that’s giant sized compared to most of today’s superhero posters. This 1960’s Dark Knight detective poster was produced by a company called G&F Posters of New York City (NYC), who also produced 1966 posters of Superman and Robin the Boy Wonder. Batman is shown here in the poster saying Nonsense! There’s no such things as –uhh! , and this was the same image used for the cover to the Batman Detective Comics issue 331 comic book from around 1964. This listing is for the poster only, of course. CONDITION NOTES (see photos): This’66 poster still retains it’s gorgeous colors, it has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED, and it has some light creasing near the bottom edge from being stored rolled all these decades, and some very light tanning. With that in mind, I’d grade this poster as “very fine/vf” condition (using comic book grading terms). I’m 100 percent certain that many other poster sellers and collectors would grade this poster higher, but I prefer to grade more conservatively. It’s incredible this scarce poster even survived the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, the 2000’s, and now. There can’t be many of these posters left in existence after all these years, especially in this condition! PLEASE READ TERMS BELOW. This is a RARE VINTAGE ORIGINAL MARVEL COMICS 1997 BLACKLIGHT VELVET POSTER FEATURING THE INCREDIBLE HULK, and this poster measures about 35 inches by 23 inches. I believe this Hulk poster features the artwork of well-known Incredible Hulk artist DALE KEOWN. This extremely hard to find 1990’s black light poster was produced by a company called Funky Enterprises of Richmond Hill, NY. As mentioned above, this vintage Marvel Comics black lite poster is also a VELVET (or felt material) poster, with a great fuzzy feel to it. Posters like this one are also referred to as a “flocked” poster. And it’s dayglo fluorescent neon colors look INCREDIBLE IN PERSON, and even better under a blacklight! Please note that you will need an “ultraviolet” blacklight to illuminate this poster, and not the more common type blacklights that are being manufactured. CONDITION NOTES (see photo). This poster has never been displayed, and it’s in “fine/very fine” condition only (using comic book grading terms), due to some crinkles that are hard to see in the photo. This poster may also have some wavy texture to the paper (especially when seen from the back side), but that’s 100 percent normal for these velvet blacklight posters because of the fuzzy material that’s attached to the underlying paper. These particular Marvel posters from the 1990’s are almost impossible to find, especially in perfect condition, and it would look great if you frame it. PLEASE READ TERMS BELOW. This is a rare vintage original GIANT SIZED 1966 BATMAN FACT TOOTHPASTE PROMOTIONAL POSTER, and not only does it show the Caped Crusader, it also shows the comic book and tv show super-villain “The Penguin”. This HUGE DC Comics 1966 Batman poster measures about 40 inches by 27 inches , and this poster was produced by a company called G&F Posters of New York City around the same time as the’66 Adam West/Burt Ward Batman ABC tv series by 20th Century Fox. IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES (see photos): This extremely scarce 1960’s poster is in “fair” condition only (using comic book grading terms), due to discoloration areas, paper tanning, tackholes in the corners, light creases, some small tears, and a lot of crinkling around the edges. But that doesn’t change how rare this ORIGINAL (not a small reproduction) poster really is, and I’m 100 percent certain that many other poster sellers and collectors would grade this poster higher, but I prefer to grade more conservatively.
