This is a rare vintage original 1972 Amazing Spiderman Buddah Records “Rockcomic” promo poster (not the album itself), and this poster measures about 22 1/4 inches by 22 1/4 inches. This rare vintage Spidey poster is in VERY FINE/NEAR MINT CONDITION, it was. AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED. It’s still bright and colorful! So it’s beyond rare! This Marvel Universe poster features the wall-crawling artwork of golden age, silver age, and bronze age Marvelmania Era artist JOHN ROMITA SR, who had a long happy run as the main artist on the Amazing Spider-man comic books from the mid 1960’s to the early 1970’s! This is absolutely the most spectacular Spider-man poster Jazzy Johnny Romita ever drew! This particular Amazing Spider-man image was so iconic, that it was later used on other Marvel comic book toys and other merchandise. VERY IMPORTANT INFO: Unlike the other 1972 Spidey posters that came folded inside the old 33 1/3 lp vinyl record albums, this’72 Spider-man Rock Comic promotional poster is ROLLED and was NEVER folded, making it much more rare, desirable, and displayable than the folded version! It was set aside for over 30 years and escaped being folded during the manufacturing process and avoided being put in the albums during production. And THAT’S what makes this 1970’s poster so very sought after! And of course, this listing is for the poster only, and not for the Spider-man album itself. And like the more common 70’s posters included inside the album sleeve, this poster has the album info on the back of it saying which actor spoke which character’s voice, etc. It’s the real deal, totally original, and I just might be the last person on earth who has the extremely scarce unfolded version. This is an EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY rare vintage original 1987 Amazing Spider-man marketing promotional poster that was never for sale to the public. Even comic book shops never got one of these posters, as they normally do with most promo posters. This super scarce Amazing Spiderman live-appearance marketing poster was aimed at Marvel advertisers back in the 1980’s, and this poster shows a live actor in a Spider-man costume outside of a skyscraper window in New York City, with a gorgeous view of the NYC scenery in the background. VERY FEW of these posters were ever made, and with all the decades that have passed, even fewer probably still exist. You may never see another one of these posters for sale in a lifetime. SIZE: This poster measures about 30 1/2 inches by 22 inches. CONDITION NOTES (see photos): This Amazing Spider-man promotional advertising agency poster has never been displayed, it still retains it’s beautiful colors, the back of the poster is still bright, but I would only grade it as “fine” condition (using comic book grading terms), due to some crinkles, some small scuffs on the front, light creases, a small edge tear that’s been mended from the back side of the poster, and some small brownish discoloration spots in the area of Spider-man’s left elbow. Offered here is a truly Rare Original 7-11 RETAILER PROMOTIONAL POSTER from the 1970’s for the Marvel Super Hero 7-11 CUPS featuring the INCREDIBLE HULK & The THING. These huge posters were sent to all 7-11 Conveniece Stores to promote the new Marvel Super Heroes Slurpee Cup series. Most of these posters were used and destroyed, a few survived. This one is in excellent condition, it has been stored pretty well over the years with some light wear and scattered crinkles in the interior and some normal edge wear, the colors are still rich and vibrant on this huge – 19″ x 66″ poster.
