For sale is Roy Lichtenstein’s poster, Tintin Reading. The dates on the bottom of the poster are 1993, when Lichtenstein evidently created the poster, and 1995 when it was printed by a Belgian printer. The Tintin books were written by the Belgian writer and illustrator, Herge. The poster depicts Tintin and his dog Snowy in Lichtenstein’s Pop Art comic book style. The poster comes with a Certificate of Provenance signed by the President of Rare Posters, Inc. The poster is in very good condition. The only flaw is some crimping in the paper at the upper left side of the poster (shown in one of the photos). It could easily be covered by a frame or matte and likely trimmed off while still leaving a decent white border outside the actual image itself.
