Listed for your consideration is Spawn #1 1992 Newsstand Edition – 1st Appearance of SPAWN (Al Simmons) – Center Poster is Intact & it comes with a Special Todd The Bum Promotional figure that were put out when the movie was released This item has a wonderful gloss, bright colors, staples are silver & firmly attached, no rips or tears anywhere throughout, the spine has a minimal tick marks. Please refer to the photos listed they are part of the description and im not a professional grader but in my personal opinion the book is a VF+/NM- also ask any and all questions and I will answer to the best of my ability. Thank you for your interest have a great day! NM: 9.8-9.6. A slight stress line by the staples. The staples are centered & clean. The cover is flat with no surface wear, bright gloss & sharp corners. All stress marks should be light and spine tears less than 1/16. Cover is centered and secured. Date stamps or arrival dates are acceptable. NM: 9.4-9.2. It is vibrant and clean. The spine has small stress lines no color breaks. The spine is almost flat. The cover is relatively flat with almost no surface wear and bright gloss. The staples may show discoloration. The pages will be off-white to white. VF: 9.0-7.5. Small fold or crease in the cover. Very few stress marks on spine. A few small chips on the cover. The cover has slight surface wear but still has its gloss. FN: 7.0-5.5. This could have one major defect. It has stress lines at the staples and creases. The pages have changed to off-white to yellowish. Discoloration, fading in colors and minor soiling. The cover and inside pages could have minor tears and folds. Cover can be loose from one staple not completely detached. Pages and inside covers could be brown but not brittle. VG: 5.0-3.5. Book is complete with major creases and a spine roll. There is low cover gloss. The pages are yellow and small pieces of them may be missing. Missing cover piece no larger than 1/2″ to 1/4″. Books are creased, scuffed, and soiled, but readable, tape is a defect. GD: 3.0-1.8. All the defects of a VG comic plus more. There is almost no gloss. The page quality is not good and yellow and small pieces missing. Missing piece can not be no larger than a 1/2″ to 1/4″. Books are always creased, scuffed, and soiled. Book is complete, but with no missing pages. FR: 1.5-1.0. Has all pages and most of the covers. Heavy creases and folds. The spine and cover may be split. Parts of the cover may be missing.
