For sale is Roy Lichtenstein’s poster, Tintin Reading. The dates on the bottom of the poster are 1993, when Lichtenstein evidently created the poster, and 1995 when it was printed by a Belgian printer. The Tintin books were written by the Belgian writer and illustrator, Herge. The poster depicts Tintin and his dog Snowy in Lichtenstein’s Pop Art comic book style. The poster comes with a Certificate of Provenance signed by the President of Rare Posters, Inc. The poster is in very good condition. The only flaw is some crimping in the paper at the upper left side of the poster (shown in one of the photos). It could easily be covered by a frame or matte and likely trimmed off while still leaving a decent white border outside the actual image itself.

Plats en très bon état, dos complet légèrement décoloré, fendu sur 8 ou 9 cm en haut et en bas (voir photos), quelques petits frottements au niveau des coiffes ou des coins (voir photos). Intérieur en très bon état, assez frais. Les chromos nont été collés que dun côté, lautre a été inséré dans des coins collés ce qui permet de soulever chaque chromo pour en lire le verso. Une seule toute petite déchirure sans manque au pied de la page 25/26 (voir photo), aucune inscription, ni tache. Quelques reflets dus à l’éclairage.
