This is the 1988 release of the 50×50 inch Marvel Universe poster by Ed Hannigan and Joe Rubenstein, featuring every Marvel Comics character up to that point in time. THIS IS NOT THE DYNAMIC FORCES REPRODUCTION. I’ve had this poster since 1988. It hung briefly in my bedroom, before going back in its tube and getting stored in the attic for the last 30 years. Condition: overall, it’s in solid shape for a 31 year old poster, the colors are still vibrant and sharp, but it does have some issues. There is some small degree of foxing on the top edge of the poster (as I said, it was stored in an attic for a long time). This should be able to be removed with proper care and conversation techniques. There’s no odor that I can detect though. There are some small thumb tacks holes where it was hung, and there is some edge wear from the tube. I tried to include photos of any small holes or tears in the paper–all of which are on the edge of the piece. The photos you see are the item for sale. RARE VINTAGE MARVEL UNIVERSE GIANT 50″ X 50″ POSTER 1992. This is the original poster, not a reproduction. It was hung briefly so there are pinholes on the 4 corners. There are some discoloration spots along the left & right ends and some slight wrinkling but not as much as others that I have seen for sale. Some fraying at top left corner.
