Original Frankenstein Monster 1972 Vintage Poster 24x72 Jack Davis Halloween

Enlarge ALL 12 photos so you know EXACTLY what you’re getting. This is the poster that will be mailed to you. It has creases along the right edges from top to bottom. A small tear between his feet on the bottom edge, see where I’m holding the bottom. Other random creasing from just being owned and moved from one house to the other. My poster came straight from the print plant it was printed at and right into my father-in-law’s home. My father in law worked as a NYC printer all his life until he retired in the 1980’s and would bring home ephemera that he either worked on or supervised the printings of. My husband had this clipped to his bedroom door as a teenager until we got married and brought it over to our home where it was never displayed. It got gently knocked around while being rolled onto a cardboard tube and sat in an upright box with other rolls of posters we wanted to frame and never got the opportunity to. SOOOOOooooooo one side has creases on the edge. The left side is pretty nice. And again, please enlarge ALL 12 photos so you know EXACTLY what you’re getting. Listed here is a set of six hand-signed Bernie Wrightson/Frankenstein prints. Wrightson was in my opinion R. One of the most talented artists in his medium, and the perfect candidate to take on illustrations for the classic tale by Mary Shelly. These photos do not do the prints justice. The detail in Wrightson’s art is simply incredible/gorgeous to admire. These prints will look amazing framed and hung up in your study/office/bedroom! Each print has an excerpt from the novel along the bottom of the illustration in which Wrightson used as inspiration to depict his work. Prints measure 9×12 All prints are in NM-VF+ condition Zoom in on the photos for a closer inspection. There are a couple of very light crinkle/bent corners but nothing major. If you intend to get these prints framed (which you absolutely should) the couple corner blemishes won’t even be seen. Even if you don’t frame the prints, they are still in fantastic condition.
