This is an EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY rare vintage original 1987 Amazing Spider-man marketing promotional poster that was never for sale to the public. Even comic book shops never got one of these posters, as they normally do with most promo posters. This super scarce Amazing Spiderman live-appearance marketing poster was aimed at Marvel advertisers back in the 1980’s, and this poster shows a live actor in a Spider-man costume outside of a skyscraper window in New York City, with a gorgeous view of the NYC scenery in the background. VERY FEW of these posters were ever made, and with all the decades that have passed, even fewer probably still exist. You may never see another one of these posters for sale in a lifetime. SIZE: This poster measures about 30 1/2 inches by 22 inches. CONDITION NOTES (see photos): This Amazing Spider-man promotional advertising agency poster has never been displayed, it still retains it’s beautiful colors, the back of the poster is still bright, but I would only grade it as “fine” condition (using comic book grading terms), due to some crinkles, some small scuffs on the front, light creases, a small edge tear that’s been mended from the back side of the poster, and some small brownish discoloration spots in the area of Spider-man’s left elbow.
